The Kenyon Farm hosts a 19.2 kilowatt (kW) photovoltaic solar array which is mounted to the western side of the barn. The project was developed by the Office of Green Initiatives in collaboration Kenyon College students through CHEM 108 Solar Energy, a hands-on renewable energy course. The panels were installed on November 3, 2015 by Third Sun Solar, an Athens based renewable energy firm, at a cost of $56,000.
